Brendon's Cedar Badge

Brendon went to Boy Scout Cedar Badge this last week. It is a week long leadership training camp. Where they teach leadership skills and help scouts become effective youth leaders within the Boy Scout Program.

Here they are arriving at 8 am on Monday morning. I also drove his good friend Kendall to drop him off also. They were both in the same group so they were able to see each other thru out the week.
They were in the patrol called the kings so they handed out crowns. Here are pictures from Saturday as we are driving to pick Brendon up. It is a beautiful drive (about 2 hours away. The camp is about 10 miles into Wyoming.)

The Grand Tetons
There wasn't much room for parking so there was a short 1/4 mile hike to the camp and then another short walk to the actual graduation place. Max didn't mind the walk at all.

Here is a waterfall we could see sitting in the clearing for his graduation.

Here is his patrol graduating. (he is on the ground 2nd from right)

After we left Treasure Mountain we went on a short trip to Mesa Falls. Daniel had not been but me and the boys had. It was still breathtaking and so fun to see. I love waterfalls. I dont know why but they always seem so beautiful to me.

The 3 boys. I LOVE this picture of Brendon. Max really didnt like standing up there and was not allowing me to let go.(not that I was going to let go, but I couldnt if I tried)

Wesley hasnt wanted his picture taken lately. We have alot of pictures of the back of his head if that would intrest anyone. :)

Playing in the back yard

We set Max's pool up outside with his slide going into it. He had a blast sliding into the water. (He is wearing one of Wes' shirts over his own clothes.)

He would even dunk his hair into the water at times. (big step for him he hates his hair wet) He enjoyed Brendon sliding into the pool also.

He tried to go down the same way but couldnt force himself to do it. So Brendon helped him along with a small push and Max wasnt very thankful, and shot him a "mean brother" soon as he hit the water. After some fun in the pool Max decided he wanted to be a monkey in the tree. And this is what happens when you leave post-it notes within reach of a 3 year old.

Ross Water Park

I took the boys + 2 more to Poctello for a few hours to thier water park. They have a lazy river, kiddie area, regular pool, and a large slide.
They all had fun. Max didnt like the kiddie area because it was raining on him and he doesnt like rain or showers!

Max being a monkey hanging on the railing.Brendon coming down the slide.
Wesley coming down the slide.

Wesley crossing the lilly pads. (blue swimpants)Wesley swimming.
Brendon and max in the lazy river.

All 3 in the lazy river.

Maximilian's 3rd birthday

Max had his 3rd birthday party. It was very small just invited our friends from down the street over. Mainly because they moved to TX the week after. :( Max is very sad that his buddy Peyton is gone.

I made him a Thomas cake with little cartoon heads of the 3 boys on it. Max LOVED it.

This is what happens when you leave birthday presents unattended. (bad Daniel) :) :)

Opening gifts.

This is all he had to open to know it was something "choochoo". It is an actuall HO sized train track that is powered with Thomas and his two coaches Annie and Clarabell. Max loves making it go around. Fast. Slow. Forwards. Backwards. ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL day!

Fun other stuff lately

The sixth grade schools around here have a track meet. Brendon is the one to the right.
Random scarey face Max was making in the car.
Wesley about to open a birthday gift.
I like this picture of Brendon.

Max on the swingset.
Brendon getting a certificate at his 6th grade graduation.
Brendon graduating from the 6th grade.
Max helping Brendon open Brendon's birthday gift.

Pictures where they were all smiling at the same time!!! WOW

Brendon playing with max but seems to be paying more attention to his new phone.
Brendon practicing his trumpet.

We are moving our living room to a different room. So now the first room you see when you walk in is the living room not Max's messy play room. So Brendon helped paint. and Max had to help also.

The room was wired for an over head light but Daniel had to actually install it. Max was there to help with that also.

Max is really into practicing writing and tracing letters.

This one he wrote DVD (v is upside down) and his name. Then he asked me to write mom, dad, and Max.

Max LOVES powdered donuts. (he calls them Noduts. )

He loves to arrange his trains like this all the time.
Our snow we had in June. Fun huh?
