NOTICE!!!! To anyone expecting Raspberry Jam.

Our crop of raspberries is starting to ripen. But as soon as they turn red some creature has been eating them before they can even come into the house.

After much searching and waiting to catch the creature in action I finally caught it red handed. -- Or is that red faced.

He eats them handfulls at a time and growls and grumbles at anyone else attempting to eat one.
So unless he gets bored with them soon I will not be able to make any Jam this year.

New living room almost complete :) Finally

Well around the begining of June I thought I would need a new laptop. So I was looking at getting a Dell and was browsing thru thier site and noticed it was 0% finanicing for a year on laptops and thier big screen TVs. So I told Daniel to order one of both. So he did but they couldnt verify his identity or some such nonsense. -------- Well my old laptop started working again and after fighting with dell to prove he really is who he says he is they approved the TV.

Once we started looking at getting the TV I decided I wanted to switch the living rooms around. Max's play room had been in what was suposed to be the Formal living room. but it was the first room you saw when you walked in the house. and it's always a mess so i didnt like that fact.

So we emptied the room and painted it and I cleaned the carpets.
Here is a picture of the paint I made stripes on the ceiling. In some lighting it almost looks like a tray ceiling. Not that thats what I was going for. I just thought it would be cool.

And finally the TV arrived on Wednesday.

So here is Max helping Daniel install the wall mount.

And here he is watching the first movie on the big tv.

Any guess what the first movie was?

Star Wars of course . I think this is his favorite movie. Episode 4 A New Hope.

Max's Haircut

Max got a hair cut recently. Well all 4 of the guys did but he's the only one you can actually tell on since Brendon and Wesley just got trims.

Before. -- Riding his train in the new living room - all of the boys loved having such an empty room. Notice the wrestling ring of tape on the floor.

After. He says he likes his "hairtut".

Max is offically obsessed with going to the park

While Brendon was at camp Max had a summer party with his Parents as Teachers group. He got to paint and blow bubbles and make sand art. But none of this really compared to the park that it was held at.

Here he is blowing bubbles.

And here are a few shots of him at that park.

So of course when Daniel got home from work Max wanted him to go to the park. So I had heard about a nice park near the zoo. So we started at the small one right across from the zoo. Max didnt care about the size it was a park so he was good.

After we got bored with that park we drove around that area and finally found the cool park. These pictures are from 3 or 4 days that we went. so dont mind the changes of outfits. And Brendon is even in a few of them

They were hiding from us. Here is this cool spinny thing they have there.

Taking a quick break for some koolaid.
Cute little excited happy run.
I think its cool how you can see wesley thru the water tube.
All 3 of them going down a slide.

My mom would like this park. This tree has a face.

There is an area with musical toys.

And it has a small area of sand. But we have yet to bring buckets and shovels.

And here is Max on a different spinny thing.

Random picture of Max in the car.

Brendon's Boy Scout summer camp

This year Brendon went to camp Morrison for summer camp. It was about 300 miles away. I'm sure glad i didnt have to drive a gaggle of boyscouts that far. Brendon really liked it (of course) and earned 5 merit badges. There are about 100 merit badges boy scouts can earn and they must get 21 specific ones to become eagle. Brendon is working hard on getting his eagle. And while at camp he did become 1st class. Now he's working on getting Star Scout, then Life, and then Eagle.

We got updates daily from camp from one of the leaders who happens to be one of Daniel's co-workers. Bill took his digital camera and laptop and used the camps wifi to email the parents. Talk about roughing it!!! HA HA.

While at camp Brendon did his best to feed every mosquito at the camp. We think he was tring to save the other scouts from being bitten.
Here he is folding a flag. (right side of flag)
And here he is preforming a skit for other troops (he's in the front with the freaky yellow glowing eyes)

4th of July

We went to the IF 4th of July parade. Again Max didnt mind the walk from where we had to park to the parade viewing area.

Here is Wesley waiting for the parade. A decent picture of him even tho his "smile" makes him look like he's in pain.
They had a huge flag and Max made sure to wave his big flag also. He loves the american flag and got very excited to see the huge one they were carrying.

Brendon had a few choices on who to walk the parade with. He could pick DARE, Cedar Badge, or his Boy Scout troop. He chose his Boy Scout troop and he got to walk the entire way holding a flag. He is in the 2nd row wearing his scout uniform. Here he is (just infront of the boy in the blue shirt)
Has anyone seen Max? He seems to have disappeared. - Even at 3 this is one of his favorite games. "Where me?" and if you dont answer it gets to more of a "hey you where me!!!!!!!!!"

Brendon was so very tired after walking all the parade route he came back and found us and pretty much melted into the ground.
I thought this float was cute.

I like this picture of Max.
Brendon didn't mind the walk back to the car. But it did cause the trip for me to be espically long. Walking any distance with Max when there are rocks to be picked up takes forever!
We went to the IF fireworks display. We have seen it every year we have been here, but this was the first year we actually went to the area and saw all of it.
Max again with his flag waiting and watching for the show.
I love my new camera and for the first time i was able to get some decent pictures of the fireworks.
Here is Maximilian during the show he didnt like the loud noises but did actually watch most of it because a nice family next to us gave Max a pair of ear plugs. :)
