Grandma's visit

Lets see while my mom was here Daniel took the boys to the go-cart track so here are a couple pictures from that.
Then Brendon went snowboarding with school and my mom and I drove up there to watch him for a few runs. He's loves it! Here he is waiting in line for the lift. He's in about the middle. Blue coat with stripes on the arms.
This picture shows where to look on the video for Brendon.
Then today is the last day Mom will be here with the boys out of school. :( :( so we went out to a couple places to take some pictures.
And of course we had to feed the ducks again.
And then just a cute picture of Maximilian sleeping.

Trip to Jackson Hole

Since my mom is in town from Texas we took a day long vacation over to Jackson WY.

Here are some of the pictures from the drive there

Our first destination was a sleigh ride thru the National Elk Refuge. It was really fun and neat to see all the elk. They are not contained this is just thier natural winter habitat and they are protected from hunters so they know they are safe.Look at how symetrical this guy's antlers are. You can barely see the farside ones because they match the closer side. Here he is again so you can see he does have 2 antlersMy mom and Brendon.Pretty prancing elk.Can you see the sleeping indian? His head is to the right, he's laying on his back with his arms folded on his chest. Its cool it even looks as he has a headdress.Max on the sleigh. Wesley is here also in the black hat on the other side of Daniel.CoyoteMax petting one of the horses that pulled our sleigh Our 2nd stop (if you don't count lunch) was at Ripley's Believe it or Not. Such interesting and odd things to be seen there.

Here is a coffin.
Brendon looking in a microscope at a bugHand painted bats. Not sure why anyone would want to touch dead bats much less paint on one. A vampire hunting kit. And of course Max found the one train they had :) its made from 75,000 match sticks

On the way back home we stopped for a pit stop and Daniel, Brendon, and Wesley had icecream. It was -2 and they were eating icecream. BOYS are WEIRD!

Museum of Idaho Christmas Exhibit

We went to the Museum of Idaho's Christmas exhibit. We were sposed to be looking at all the pretty Santas and Nativty scenes and the gingerbread houses.
But guess what Max spotted?
A Santa train trinket box.
A Train made out of candy. And can you spot the train here?

And of course we had to explore the kids discovery area. Here are all 3 boys up in the eagles nest area.

The train on the coke picture is going around the snowglobe on the left. He spotted that and went crazy. and figured there were trains hidden everywhere. Its the most Maximilian has looked around at the mueseum. :)
