We went to the Utah Renaissance Festival on Saturday. With Brendon's best friend Daxton, his brother Jayce, and thier dad Brad. While there the older kids played Belegarth. - Foam coverd weapons shields/etc.

The jousting we saw while there. One of the jousters and his hearld were the world champion jousting team. 
Max was playing in the dirt and fell face first into the dirt. We all got a kick out of his mask.

Then on Sunday we went to the Hogle zoo in Salt Lake. We mainly focused on the animals that we don't have here at the Idaho Falls zoo. We watched a pretty cool elephant demonstration.
I loved how close we got to the rhinos. 
And watched the giraffes for a while.

This little orangutan was so cute. he had his blankie and was dropping it into the pool of water below him. then pulling it up and sucking all the water out and doing all this while hanging upside down. 
this bear had just woke up. But he wasn't really awake either, he was just standing there sleeping.
Max liked the zebras at this zoo also.
And they have a train. we rode it twice. Once in the front and once in the back. Max loved it. Imagine that.
