Snow - oh wonderful Snow

Well it has snowed alot here this year. I don't like it I've lived in it enough. I'm ready for weather where I dont have to plan a small trip as a major outing. And buckling a squigly Maximilian into his carseat while its all cold isnt fun!.
Brendon got his snowboard ready and finally got to go board down a local hill. He didnt like all the work having to carry it up the hill he's ready for a real resort with a ski lift. Wesley took a couple of our sleds and had fun also.
I guess the hill was pretty steep and since its starting to thaw parts of it are icey and that just makes it hard to control and speeds them up when they dont expect it.
Our neighbors a few houses down built this snowman he was awesome. He fell over the other day when things started to melt. See how tall it is and they didnt even use all thier snow.
And Max totally loves his BigBoyBed. He has gone right to sleep in it every night and has stayed in it each night.

Videos of Max

Here he is at about 1 am it looks like in the 2nd one he was jumping and then he keeps looking at Thomas' face.

He is totally convinced Santa is his BEST (favorite). "Santa bring me more trains than i asked for Santa my best!!!!!!!!" "Santa bring me a Thomas bed and I love it but I didnt tell him i wanted it, he just knowed"

More Christmas Stuff

Well we did get Max into his new bed while he was sleeping. I'm pretty sure that kid would sleep thru anything now.
I set my laptop up and it did catch a couple videos but not alot. At about 1 am he woke up and you can see him jumping on his new bed and looking over at the face.
I will try to upload those in a bit

But for now here are some pictures of him in his bed. He has gone up there quite a bit today just to look at it and climb on it.
Brendon knew about his snowboard which my dad bought in TX. It came with bindings attached. So we figured since he's known about his present for a while we would mess with him. We told Brendon that grandpa accidently sent the bindings to NY to my sister Sandy. And amazingly Brendon didnt really get to upset about that. - But of course the bindings are here in ID and while Brendon is downstairs playing video games I put the bindings on the boots and stuck them back under the tree. I did that at 7:45pm we will see how long it takes him to notice. But remember he's the one that didnt notice the Wii in plain site for a couple weeks in May of 07.

Merry Christmas

Here is Max out shoveling the snow the other day..Here is our tree with most of the presents under it. Bet no on can guess what the tall one to the right isWe were trying to tell Max how to leave milk and cookies out for santa and he didnt agree. He made sure that the candy canes were in the container I made recently. (Brendon painted it the cool Christmas colors) - You can also see the tree skirt i finished last year.here are a couple of the snow flakes me and Brendon made. Our stockings. according toMax the M is for mom and the A for Max?
And here is our cards we have recieved. Love the part of the movie I ended up catching in the picture.Max opening his one gift on Christmas eve.Wesley opening his C. eve present
Brendon opening his eve present.Honest we really do feed the kids they just are skinny.

Here is Max with his santa present and all his stocking stuff.
He loves the new musical Thomas toothbrush
Max opening his Sponge Bob winter crocs. One of the very few things he got that wasn't Thomas.
Max got a leapster which is a Star Wars theme, he didnt believe it was his at first since Wesley gets Star Wars stuff. And one of the games is Sonic which Max tried to give to Brendon because Brendon likes Sonic.
Here is Max thinking about one of his gifts. I love how he puts his finger on his chin when he's deep in thought.Wesley opening the cool nerf gun from his grandparents. its an automatic will shoot something like 3 a second.
Here he is opening more ammo for it.
? No real comment on this picture. He's just wierd. Here is Brendon starting to get scared after he sees Wesley's gun and all the ammo he got with it. Brendon is sure his Grandpa used at least one roll of tape on the packaging for the snowboard. Here is Max playing with his lego trains.....See Brendon in the back still working on opening his board. He tried sliding the last bits of cardboard off but it wouldnt work that way.
Almost done.Last piece of tape :) He was so fun listening to while he was opening it. He loves the board and cant wait to go out boarding.

Christmas Eve

Well the tree is up.
And it is stuffed with presents.
And we have 3 happy healthy boys.
What more can we ask for.

Well we would love to be in TX with family but that just can't happen this year.
So I just hope everyone there knows we would rather be there than in this "winterwonderland"

So we have been talking to Maximilian about how Santa gets here. He's not sure about the raindeer and still half the time says Santa comes on a train.
But when we asked him today how Santa would get into the house:
"I DONT know. He just brings lots and lots of trains"
it was too cute :)

Santa is very happy that his box from ebay arrived in time for Christmas to actually be held on the 25th.

Max is starting to sing some of the Christmas songs on his MP3 player. Maybe I'll be able to catch a little of it on video soon.

-------------
Brendon is so ready for tomorrow morning he wants to open his present from my parents. - He knows what it is and what it looks like (thanks Michelle) but he is still itching to open it. So With what they got him and what we got him he is almost set to go snowboarding. He needs a helmet but I think a friend of his might have one to loan/give to Bren.
Wesley isnt really expecting a certain present but I think he will be very pleased with all he got.
Max's main theme for Christmas is Thomas (imagine that)
I just bought him a bed off the classifieds that is Thomas. I've been looking at it at the store for 260-275. i paid 125 for it. We are going to set it up in the middle of the night and put it in his room like we did the older boys and thier bunk bed.
I'm hoping to set my laptop with the motion detect web cam to get his total reaction.
--------------

We have been getting alot of snow but it hasnt thawed/frozen/thawed so it all hasnt turned to ice like it kept doing last year. It really sucked having to chip away at 6inches of ice on our driveway/sidewalks. I have been trying to either get the boys out there as soon as it snows or I will go out and work on car paths and sidewalks. Funny?!?!?! beng the only girl in a house full of boys out there shoveling. But it is a good workout.

Getting ready for Christmas.

Here is my newest cross stitch. Its on plastic and bent to be shaped like a bay window. Max loves it and has helped me with quite a few of the stitches. (pulling the needle thru and taking the thread out of the needle) Here is the advent calendar I recently made. Im not happy with where it is. But it works for now. Each day has an envelope with 3 pieces of candy and an embrodiered ornament to hang from the button. So when that day is done you can easily see how many more days til Christmas.
Outside we have had this Mickey for a couple years. And just bought this Thomas that Max absolutely loves.

here is Max telling us what he wants from Santa. Santa is having a hard time finding everything Max lists but is getting closer. Dont ya love how obsessed Maximilian is with trains? His Santa comes to the house on a train.

Fun stuff

Wesley went on a Boy Scout camp out as one of the last few requirements for Cub Scouts.
Wesley is in the middle of the picture. To the left of the tree top in the orange coat. Here is where Daniel and Wesley set up the tent.
And this is what they woke up to in the morning. Looks fun huh?

Brendon had to make a model of a plant cell for science class.....Isn't this the yummiest looking cell you have ever seen?
We went and fed the ducks by the river a few days ago they were starving and swarmed us. Max thought it was hilarious when they took the bread right out of his hands.
And a picture of the 3 boys.
