Open House at the local Hydro-Electric plant

Our local hydro plant had an open house today. We got to tour the main facility and then they had lots of fun activites to do.

Here we are walking thru the plant and Daniel was trying to look down into the open pits to see the machinery, but Max really didnt like that idea. Neither did Wesley who is terrified of heights, which very much included Max looking into anything while on Daniel's shoulders.
This is looking down into that pit.
I don't even remember why Max was upset while we were inline for food. But doesn't he have a great pout? And a real tear to prove he wasn't happy.
They had free rides up in thier bucket trucks. Brendon was the only one brave enough to try it.

This was during the tour and I had to take the picture for my mom. See the face?

Random stuff

I took a picture of a batch of tomatoes one day with a dime in the photo to show size. I came back later to find the cherry tomatoes and the dime gone. It was only me and Max in the house and I don't eat tomatoes.Wesley with half his hair blue for a school spirit day.
Max helping vacuum.

Max was SOOOOOOOO excited when he was opening a box of trains we got off E-bay.
Our apple tree produced ALOT of apples this year.
One of the last roses from the bush this year.
Max still loves to play Brendon's trumpet.

Zoo

We all went to the Zoo today (9-27) and just Max and I also went a couple weeks ago.

Here are all 3 kiddos. Here are the Serval's they just had 3 babies they are just too cute.
Max loved seeing the monkeys and they seemed to liked watching us also.

Max thought it would be fun to chase the peacock.

Max feeding a goat.
Max brushing a goat.

We got to see the snow leapords. They normally are not out visable. I guess it's to hot most of the time.

A cute water fountain.

Boy's Football

The boys have been having a lot of fun playing football. This past Friday night at the highschool game the younger kids got to go out onto the field at half time to be announced with thier team and player #.

Here is Max at one of the games.

Wesley to the far right.

Max at another game
Brendon (#31)Brendon -farthest right running Brendon pretty much in the middle
Brendon again.

As you can see Brendon gets played alot more because he isn't afraid of getting in the middle of it. And Wesley is just about the smallest kid on his team and most of his team is 4th graders (Wes is in 5th)

Eastern Idaho State Fair

We went to the fair on Saturday. It was great fun wandering the exhibits and eating the yummy food and riding the rides.

Here is Max on a car ride. Max and Wes on a train. The veiw from the Ferris Wheel.
Wes and Daniel on the tilt a whirl.
Great picture of Brendon actually smiling.
Brendon, Max and I went on a scarey ride and Max went thru the whole thing like this. Here he is after, still covering his eyes. No it wasnt really scarey but anything 'Halloween' usually gets the hands over the eyes.
Max riding a tractor train thing. (zebra car)
Brendon and Wesley on a ride.

This is what happens when Max gets out of his stroller for too long. And no I couldnt push it with him in it. Brendon is up there somewhere. :)
