Over Labor day weekend we went to a cabin north of Felt Idaho. It is was so nice and peaceful.
Max gave it 2 thumbs up.Here he is talking to the plastic owl on the balcony. It talked back to him (by Max's own little squeaky owl voice)This is the view from the balcony. You can see the Grand Tetons in the distance. This is where I wanted to stay the whole weekend but the boys kept stealing it from me.We had a campfire the first night. And stayed up to watch the stars. We actually could see the milky way and spot many constalations.
There is a creek/stream on the property that we explored. And this was Max's favorite part. Throwing rocks into water. Here are Bren and Max in a 'cave' of tree roots/branches.A beautiful rainbow. - I tried to get the whole thing but by the time I ran downstairs and slipped my shoes on it was gone :(Sunset the last night we were there. One of the days we were over there we went to Elk Adventures in Victor. They raise Elk and have a wagon ride thru thier farm.Max fell asleep on the VERY bumpy wagon ride. But he still has a grip on the rope. He was told to hold on when we first got on the wagon so he did! They let him sit on one of the clydesdales when we were done. He was just waking up so he wasn't very excited about it.We drove down a random road while we were waiting to go to the elks. And found a stream to throw rocks into.
The bigger the rocks the greater the splash so Wes would retrieve the big ones to throw again.
